NEW YORK SHORTS FEST 2014 OPENS TUES 27 MAY

NYSF_Final_30perWe are really looking forward to this year’s New York International Short Film Festival – it’s only two weeks away and full of amazing shorts including new films from RSSF Alumni. See the full line up here including links to booking.

This year their showcase shorts include Bingo Night, starring Mindy Sterling (Austin Powers), The Lord of Catan, starring Amy Acker (Much Ado About Nothing) and Fran Kranz (The Cabin in the Woods), The Parting Glass produced by NY agency Opperman Weiss, What Cheer? starring Richard Kind (Spin City, Argo), Joan’s Day Out, starring Sally Kellerman (MASH), Tara Lynne Barr (God Bless America), and Betsy Franco (Broken Tower, General Hospital), and Glance, produced by Academy Films. The New York International Short Film Festival (NY Shorts Fest) showcases the finest short-form cinema from around the world to enthusiastic audiences in the vibrant filmmaking enclave of New York City. Offering short-form filmmakers an ideal platform to screen their film and gain recognition in the heart of New York City.  

The NY Shorts Fest events include receptions, as well as workshops and master classes with industry experts and top filmmaking professionals sharing their practical advice to attending filmmakers. At the heart of the festival is the quality and scope of extraordinary films and filmmakers.

The 3rd New York International Short Film Festival will be held at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema in New York City May 27 – 29, 2014.
