REED.CO.UK ANNOUNCE 2014 WINNERS

 

Reed.co.uk Short Film Competition 2014 Awards

Now in its fifth year and one of the fastest growing shorts competitions in the UK, the reed.co.uk Short Film competition is focused on giving talented, creative individuals an opportunity to showcase their work to the widest possible audience.

From 490 entries, 12 nominated ‘Family Business’ short films were carefully selected by members of the judging panel and the awards were presented at the awards ceremony at BAFTA.  See the films HERE.

GRAND PRIX

Rhys Edwards- Wales (Short Film: A Good Bitch)

£10,000 prize, British Council Support to attend two international Film Festivals, £2,000 towards a Met School film course and mentoring support from Creative England and career advice, development and guidance.

JUDGES COMMENDATION 

Dan Castella and Chloe Davies-London (Short Film: Pitta Patter)

£1,000 prize, plus £2,000 towards a course at the Met Film School

PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD 

Andrew AB-Liverpool (Short Film: No Son of Mime)

Prize to include £1,000 plus £2,000 towards a course at the Met Film School

BEST YOUNG FILMMAKER 

Shiona Penrake-London (Short Film: The Paintbrush)

£1,000 prize and £2,000 towards a course at the Met Film School
