SWEDENBORG SHORT FILM FESTIVAL CALL FOR ENTRIES

The Swedenborg International Short Film Festival is now open for entries. They’re looking for films of 30 minutes or less, with a rather unique remit in that submissions are invited on a variety of themes and genres, but priority is given to themes encountered in the work of scientist, philosopher, radical theologian and mystic Emanuel Swedenborg (1688 – 1772).

If you think you’ve got something that fits the bill, have a look at the details, below.

Submissions

If you would like to submit a film for consideration, please download and complete the submission form and send this with a DVD (video) copy of your film to:

Swedenborg Short Film Festival, Swedenborg House, 20-21 Bloomsbury Way, London WC1A 2TH

There is a submission fee of £5 per entry. Please read the terms & conditions before entering the festival. Should you have any questions regarding the festival or your entry, please contact Nora Foster via nora@swedenborg.org.uk.

Festival screenings: Friday 30 November 2012 | 6 – 9 pm | Swedenborg Hall

Selected submissions will be screened to a public audience at Swedenborg Hall, ‘one of London’s most atmospheric venues’ (The Guardian); at the closing of the festival an award will be given for Best Film, chosen by judges GARETH EVANS and JEREMY MILLAR.
